In 2010, we opened a storefront in the heart of Richmond, Virginia’s historic Fan district. Bombolini quickly became a neighborhood go-to for handmade pastas, sandwiches, wine and craft beer.

Seven years later, our love of food and experimentation led us to opening Trial & Error. Today, just like the city we call home, our distillery is a mix of many cultures. We draw from the personal experiences of both our customers and our staff, and experiment from there. The result is an array of bar cart essentials like vodka and rum, delightfully complex gin and whiskies, and rare, lesser-known spirits like limoncello, grappa, and aquavit.
